Reproductive Loss 101: Facilitating the Grieving Process [3 CEUs]
Approximately two million couples experience reproductive loss through miscarriage or abortion every year in the United States. Studies indicate that many of these couples silently mourn without the social support necessary to make sense of their loss. As a mental health professional you are in a unique position to identify unresolved grief and to facilitate a healthy grieving process.
"I appreciate the specific clinical tools and skills that I can directly use." - Social Worker, Sharp Mary Birch Hospital
Reproductive Loss 102: Continuing the Healing Journey [3 CEUs]
*Completion of Reproductive Loss 101 required
With the prevalence of reproductive loss in the United States, clinicians have a great opportunity to explore this loss upon intake and journey alongside individuals in their healing. Understanding grief and trauma are essential components in breaking the silence and making the “invisible loss” visible, as well as building a strong therapeutic alliance with clients. This advanced course empowers both the clinician and the client to understand expected behaviors in reproductive loss and use a unified protocol approach.
