Reproductive Loss: Facilitating the Grieving Process Part I & II

This course has been split into two parts due to it’s length. To register you must be available to participate on both days: 5/19 & 5/21 @ 11 am. Only one registration needed!

This course is exclusively for licensed mental health professionals and graduate-level students going into social work, counseling, or psychology.
Life Perspectives is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs and maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Note: Many states accept CAMFT credit, please check with your state licensing board.
 

Reproductive Loss 101: Facilitating the Grieving Process [3 CEUs] 

Approximately two million couples experience reproductive loss through miscarriage or abortion every year in the United States. Studies indicate that many of these couples silently mourn without the social support necessary to make sense of their loss. As a mental health professional, you are in a unique position to identify unresolved grief and to facilitate a healthy grieving process.

Educational Goals & Learning Objectives

– Describe the prevalence of reproductive loss.

– Recognize the emotional meaning and impact of reproductive loss.
